Olivia Gutierrez Sarmiento

Olivia is SHM's Mexico Lead, in charge of SHM’s operations in Mexico City, where her focus is building and maintaining relationships with local enterprises, universities and cultural centres. She also works as part of our Design Team on coding projects and developing websites.

Oli studied Communication at Universidad Iberoaméricana in Mexico City. Before joining SHM, she worked in the public sector, building links between government and society to improve new public politics and citizenship.

Oli is an avid reader and is always on the task of rescuing and reintegrating stray dogs.
