Esme Nicholson

Esme is SHM's Head of Strategy, working with our Projects Team and Executive Team to set SHM’s strategic direction and bring it to life in our projects. She has worked at SHM since 2013. As Head of Strategy, Esme enjoys working with the world’s largest organisations to create long-lasting behavioural strategies and organisational change. She is passionate about understanding what makes people tick – a key component of her day-to-day work.

Esme read philosophy and cognitive science at St John’s, Cambridge, before achieving an MSc in Cognitive and Decision Sciences at University College London. She currently works as an advisor to some of SHM's university partners.

When not in the office, Esme loves exploring the world, being a foodie, and trying to bring bridge back into the zeitgeist.
