Anna Kydd

Anna joined SHM in 2003, and headed up our work in Mexico City between 2005– 2010. Since her return to London, she has worked primarily in the health sector, managed key partnership projects between SHM and leading academic institutions, and is now developing SHM’s new business strategy in Latin America.

Anna has a keen interest in, and significant project experience of, new advances in the digital world and exploring the opportunities that they provide for social change worldwide. Working across the public and voluntary sectors in the UK and Latin America, she has developed particular expertise in the development of participatory approaches and methodologies to help excluded groups voice and articulate their needs and develop solutions to the challenges that they face.

Prior to joining SHM, Anna worked for the Food Agriculture Organization and for the Fairtrade Labelling Organization. She has a BA (Hons) in Geography from the School of Oriental and African Studies, an MSc in Planning and Development from the Development Planning Unit, University College London, and is fluent in Spanish.
